At Digital Wellness (the "App", "we", "us", or "our"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our Slack application.

2. Information We Collect

To provide our services (sending active breaks), the Digital Wellness app requests specific permissions (OAuth scopes) from your Slack workspace:

  • users:read: We access basic profile information (like your display name) to personalize messages (e.g., "Aquí está tu pausa, Ismael").
  • channels:read & groups:read: We read channel lists strictly to know which channels the bot has been invited to so it can deliver scheduled pauses.
  • chat:write & im:write: We require write access solely to send messages and direct messages containing your daily wellness breaks.
Important: We do NOT subscribe to message events in your channels. The bot does not read, fetch, monitor, process, or store the contents of your conversations.

3. How We Use Information

The information we collect is used exclusively to operate the application core functionality:

  • Scheduling and delivering automated break reminders.
  • Identifying the correct channel or user to send a scheduled message to.
  • Managing active subscriptions to the Digital Wellness service.

4. Data Storage and Retention

We store minimal data required to schedule messages (such as workspace IDs, channel IDs, and subscription times). This data is securely stored in our database. We retain this data only as long as the application is installed in your workspace. You may request the deletion of your data at any time by uninstalling the app and contacting our support.

5. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or voluntarily share your workspace data with third-party advertising networks, analytics companies, or other external businesses. Data is only processed through necessary cloud infrastructure partners required to host the bot.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
